Planning Submitted for Lound Hall
Benell Investments Ltd has submitted a planning application for the conversion of the Grade 2 listed former school house, Lound Hall in Chapeltown, Sheffield.
The scheme proposed will create six residential units and will incorporate features of the historic building within each unit including stunning original doors and windows together open vaulted ceilings.
Benell Investments Anuj Joshi is hopeful of a successful planning submission stating, "We have been in long discussions with the planning officer and listed buildings officer of Sheffield City Council, in order to try and create a scheme which we can all live with. We have balanced the need to create an economically viable scheme in these challenging times but also one that is sympathetic to the building. I am confident that we have achieved this with our proposal."
The scheme has been designed by Sheffield architects, Space Studio Ltd and has been submitted on behalf of the current owners, Grey Oak Developments Ltd.
Anuj continued, "We are hopeful that subject to a successful planning application, the scheme will be undertaken jointly with the owners, Grey Oak Developments in order to see this fantastic building converted into a stunning scheme."
